What Information Should You Send Before Ordering TPMS?

Looking for TPMS? Before asking for a price, there is some basic information that can help us find the right product faster.

You don't need to know every technical detail. Start with the information you already have.

1. Vehicle Make, Model and Year

This is the most important information.

For example:

Toyota Fortuner / 2023

is much better than simply saying:

Toyota TPMS

Different model years can use different TPMS configurations, so the exact vehicle information matters.

If you are buying for several vehicles, you can send a simple list:

Make Model Year
Toyota Fortuner 2023
Nissan Patrol 2022
Ford Ranger 2021

2. Target Market

Where will the TPMS be sold?

For example:

  • USA

  • Europe

  • Saudi Arabia

  • UAE

  • Australia

  • Southeast Asia

The same vehicle model may have different TPMS configurations in different markets. Adding the target market gives the supplier a clearer picture of what you need.

3. External or Internal TPMS?

If you already know which type you want, let us know.

External TPMS is generally easier to install and replace.

Internal TPMS is installed inside the tire and normally requires tire removal.

If you are not sure, just tell us your application and customer requirements. We can help you compare the two options.

4. Do You Know the Frequency?

You may come across 315 MHz and 433.92 MHz when looking for TPMS.

Frequency is important, but it is not the only compatibility factor. The correct sensor also needs to match the vehicle application and communication system. Some vehicle models can even use different frequencies in different years.

Don't know the frequency? No problem. Send us the vehicle information first.

5. Quantity

Tell us roughly how many you need.

For example:

  • Sample: 5 pcs

  • Trial order: 20 sets

  • Initial order: 500 pcs

  • Regular order: 1,000 pcs+

This helps us prepare a more useful quotation for your project.

6. What Is the TPMS For?

A short description is helpful too.

Are you a:

  • Auto parts distributor?

  • Tire shop?

  • Car accessory retailer?

  • Fleet company?

  • Automotive aftermarket brand?

A distributor building a product range may have different requirements from a tire shop looking for a few replacement sensors.

A Simple Inquiry Example

You don't need to write a long message.

Something like this is enough:

Toyota Fortuner / 2023 / Saudi Arabia / External / 100 pcs

If you have an OE number or a photo of the original sensor, you can send that as well.

What If You Don't Know All the Information?

That's normal.

You don't need to know the frequency, protocol or relearn method before contacting a TPMS supplier.

Start with:

Vehicle + Year + Market + Sensor Type + Quantity

Then provide any photos or OE numbers you have.

The remaining technical details can be checked from there.

Before You Order

The most important thing is not to choose a TPMS based on price alone.

First make sure the sensor matches the vehicle application.

Vehicle → Market → Sensor Type → Compatibility → Quantity → Price

A few extra details before ordering can save a lot of time later.

At JINYUNSHENG, we provide TPMS solutions for passenger cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, including external TPMS, internal TPMS, programmable TPMS sensors and OEM/ODM projects.

Have a TPMS application in mind? Send us the vehicle information and quantity. Let's check it together.
